Debra Jenne Burdette, 66, of Statesville, N.C., died peacefully on Friday July 30, 2021, in her home. She was born in Newport, Vt., on April 2, 1955, the daughter of the late Ruth Mae (Dean) Jenne of Attleboro, Mass., and the late Richard Leland Jenne.
Debra started with nothing, including no power and no running water; however, she was determined to work full time and raise two children. She was also dedicated to others during her lifetime. She worked at Iredell Memorial Hospital for many years and volunteered as an EMT to save lives in her free time.
She is survived by her two children, Stephanie and her husband David Faughnan, of Prince George, Va., and Joshua Burdette of Statesville; six grandchildren, Andrew Hay of Prince George, Va., Kailee Mosley of Statesville, Ryan Mosley of Statesville, Mikayla Faughnan of Short Pump, Va., Haleigh Faughnan of Taylorsville, N.C., David Faughnan II of Statesville, and one great-grandchild, Lilo Mei-Lynn Lajeunesse of Statesville.

Oh! I remember working w Debbie at Itedell! A hard worker, fun, and a nice person! She had fun adventures, too! I am so sorry for your loss and ours!
