Eugene “Chip” Bustle, 83, of Union Grove, N.C., died Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C.

Born in Iredell County on April 1, 1938, he was the son to the late John S. and Leathy Mae Marlow Bustle.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda B. Wooten; a grandchild; and several siblings.

Eugene was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and helping people on the farm.

Those left to cherish his memory are two sons, Roger Bustle (Carol) and Gary Bustle (Gail); brother, Junior Bustle; and three grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, September 5, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Taylor Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastors Talmadge Hollar and Mark Kiser officiating. All in attendance are asked to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
