“Tommy” Frank Thomas Gilliland, 64, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021. He was born on January 1, 1957, in Mooresville, N.C., to the late James Wesley and Ruby Clark Gilliland.

Tommy was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing and building things. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Thomas “Tom-Tom” Gilliland and Jamie Gilliland (Brenna); grandchildren, Suada, Jamie Jr. and Paislee Gilliland; and siblings, Ann Joines (Glen), James Gilliland (Dawn), Mark Gilliland (Denise), Mildred Moore.

No services will be held at this time.
