Gerald Lee Sharpe, 45, of Statesville, N.C., passed away unexpectedly July 17,2021. Lee was born August 17,1975, in Mecklenburg County, N.C., to Lindsey Frank Sharpe of Statesville and the late Barbara Dean Martin Sharpe. He worked with U-Haul Rentals.

In addition to his father, he is survived by a brother, Martin Lindsey Sharpe of Huntersville; and a sister, Kelly Bruce (Ricky) of Statesville.

A Graveside service will be conducted Saturday, July 24, at 11 a.m. at Pisgah UMC cemetery with Pastor David Bradley officiating. There will be no formal visitation; the family will gather in the cemetery after the service.
