Helen Lee Christie, 95, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. She was born on April 25, 1926, in Mooresville to the late John Lee and Grace Munday Lee Lyon.

Mrs. Christie was a kind and compassionate Christian lady who loved the Lord, her family and church. She was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed making COVID masks for anyone who needed one. She enjoyed reading the Bible, crossword puzzles, and Gospel music.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Christie; daughter, Saundra Rogers; and sisters, Mildred Henderson and Gladys Rozner.

She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Stutts; sister, Jo Duckworth; grandchildren, Wendy Overcash (Walter) and Tim Stutts (Dionne); great grandchildren, Mary Liz, Joshua, Sarah, Jaden, Caleb; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 29, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a service following at 2 p.m. at Berea Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Stutts officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
