Henry Louis Freeland, 84, of Mount Ulla, N.C., passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 11, 1936, in Iredell County, N.C., to the late Thomas and Frances Sowers Freeland. Henry was a farmer all his life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lena C. Freeland; sisters, Annie Hill and Irene Goins; brothers, James, Carl, and Clyde Freeland; and step daughter, Cindy Poole.
He is survived by his sister, Marie Freeland; stepsons, Marty Stutts (Barbara) and Allen Stutts (Linda); and his beloved dog, Sam.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 17, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a service following at 2 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Triplett United Methodist Church Cemetery.
