Imani “Mani” Janae Dixon, 4 months, beloved daughter of Jalessa Tamar Dixon and Micheal Anthony Moss, was born in Iredell County on May 27, 2021. She departed this life unexpectedly on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

Mani was preceded in death by her grandfather, Leroy Turner; great grandparents, Carol and Robert Steele, and Benny Moss; great uncle, Leonard Williams; great-great-grandparents, Hile and Christine Williams; and godsister, Amari Wilson.

She leaves to remember her life her mother, Jalessa Dixon of the home; her father, Micheal Anthony Moss of the home; her sisters, Zy’Kieria Dixon, ZyRyah Dixon, Makayla Turner, and Assata Rameur; her brother, TyQwon Blackwell; her grandparents, Dena McGill, Brandon Steele Sr. and Ruthie Frazier; great grandparents, Bobby Dixon, Louise McCorkle, and Benny Moss; God Parents, Amanda Wilson, Nick Caldwell and Freddie (Tonia) Carney; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Friday, October 8, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary.
