Janice Mildred “Jan” Perdock passed away on January 11, 2021. She was born on March 17, 1937.

Jan was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, John W. Perdock, in 2006.

She is survived by her sons, David and wife Maureen of Mooresville, N.C., and Robert and wife Meg of Remsenburg, N.Y. She also leaves behind four adoring grandchildren, Danielle of Pennsylvania, and Andrew, Ryan and Jessica of North Carolina.

The family will receive friends on January 13, 2021, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be conducted at Glenwood Memorial Park on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 11 a.m. with Chaplain Aaron Macemore whom she recently befriended.

The family thanks Dr. Willie Whittaker and all Jan’s caregivers at the Statesville Dialysis Center, Iredell Memorial Hospital and skilled nursing facility and at the Gordon Hospice House.

We all take different paths in life, but it is those we encounter along the way who provided us the most joy.
