Jocelyn Carolyn Durand Hamby, 80, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021.

Born July 22, 1941, in Central Falls, R.I., she was the daughter to the late Harold and Aldora Desrosiers Durand. Jocelyn was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, James “Jim” Hamby.

She leaves behind her son, William “Bill” Hamby and wife Michelle; grandson, Steven Hamby; and sister, Michele “Miki” Durand Schnackel.

Jocelyn wishes were that she be laid to rest next to Jim in a private family service, which will be held at a later date.
