Lissette Caez, a resident of Mooresville, N.C., died of liver disease and natural causes on February 19, 2021. She was 52 years old.
Lissette, who was of Puerto Rican descent, was born in and lived most of her life in the Bronx, N.Y. She was loved by so many; her smile and infectious laugh made everyone she met feel like they knew her for years. She was sweet, sassy, funny, classy, and humble. If she loved you, she loved you forever. Loyal and Real. She will be terribly missed.
She is survived by her mother, Neppy Garcia, and stepfather, Miguel Sierra; her sisters, Wilma Rosa and Rosa Caez; her brother J. Alberto Salazar; and her sons, Matthew Larracuente and Armando Vazquez-Caez; her daughter-in-law, Michelle Pena; and her beloved grandchildren, Emily and Christian. We especially extend our condolences in a special way to Lissette’s partner, Michael Minder, and his wonderful family who embraced her and loved her dearly. Her North Carolina family will forever be a part of ours.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Cross Bronx in New York City on March 5, 2021, with interment at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx NY to follow. Details to be announced shortly.
