Margaret “Peggy” Payne Wolfe, 82, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at the Citadel of Mooresville. She was born on April 3, 1938 in Mecklenburg County, N.C., to the late Harold and Gladys Hollar Payne.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Thomas R. Wolfe.

She is survived by her children, Beverly Clontz (Tommy), Thomas R. Wolfe, Jr. (Tina), Carol Wolfe, and William Wolfe (Lisa); grandchildren, Thomas Wolfe III, Sarah Wolfe, Jack Goodman, and Gracie Goodman; and great granddaughter, Aria Bella Chiodo.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 24, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 25, at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte.
