Mary Blake, known fondly as Peggy, went home to be with the Lord and rejoined with her loved ones on Friday, March 26, 2021. Peggy was born June 5, 1924, in a small village in the mountains of southwestern Virginia between Salem and Roanoke, known as Lafayette. She married George H. Blake Jr. on November 14, 1946.

Her three children, Bill, Brenda and David, survive her. She was preceded by her beloved husband, George; her parents, Bill and Elva; and her son-in-law, Charles Lawrence.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 15, at 11 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery.
