Mr. Michael Lee Johnson of 800 Dodson Mill Road, Pilot Mountain, N.C., passed away at his residence on Friday, November 5, 2021. He was born in Iredell County on August 8, 1954, and was the son of the late John Lee Johnson and Rossie Mattox Johnson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, J. D. Johnson; a sister, Barbara Johnson; and a sister-in-law, Gail Johnson.

He attended Morningside and at one time Harvest Baptist Church. He made his home in Pilot Mountain.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life,two daughters, Rossie Robinson and Sylvia Robinson, both of Statesville; one brother, John Johnson Jr. of Statesville; five sisters, Betty Mattox, Patsy Johnson, Doris Ann Johnson, Phyllis Johnson and Kaye Johnson, all of Statesville; eleven grandchildren; nephews and nieces, Tyrone Johnson of Winston-Salem, Michael Johnson, Derrick Johnson, Rusty Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Patrick Johnson, Maurice Johnson, Eric Johnson, Denise Johnson and Wanda Johnson, all of Statesville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
