Monica LaShalle Keller, 33, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, Charlotte, N.C.

Born April 28, 1987 in Charlotte, Monica was a 2005 graduate of Lake Norman High School, where she played softball and sang in the choir. Monica loved music, and she was an amazing singer. She enjoyed arts, crafts, painting and was a lover of art. She loved her son and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Marman Lee Keller and Mary Louise Keller, and maternal grandfather, Robert Sewell Stout.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Sandra Stout Keller; father, Markos Lee Keller and wife Rhonda; son, Isaac Lee Lucas; and sisters Jennifer Brown, Morgan Keller, and Jessica Reid and husband Chris Reid. Also surviving is her maternal grandmother, Barbara Stout Erskine, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will be having a memorial service at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021, with the Rev. Dave Keck officiating, at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel, Mooresville. They will receive friends immediately following the service.
