Richard Clay Rash, 46, of Harmony, N.C., passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Born in Iredell County on January 11, 1975, he was the son of Robert Jones and Cathy Rash Jones.

Richard was employed with WPH in Statesville and was of the Holiness family. He loved the Lord and spending time with his family, who were his whole life.

In addition to his parents, Robert and Cathy, Richard is survived by his wife of 24½ years, Shana Grant Rash; his adoring children, Caleb, Taylor, Brycen and Connor; his sister, Subrina Jones (Sam Eberhart); and a nephew, Curtis Eberhart.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, May 3, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hillside Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Hillside Baptist Church with Rev. Scott McGraw officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
