Ms. Stephanie Lachay Geter, 48, of 17045 North Star Drive, Huntersville, N.C., departed this life on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville, N.C. She was born in Rowan County on November 29, 1972, and was the daughter of Robert Lee Geter Sr. and the late Audrey Bernice Sharpe Geter.

She was employed at Alliance Health as a CNA at the time of her death.

She leaves to cherish the memory of her life, in addition to her father, Robert Lee Geter Sr. of Statesville, one son, Micheal Teasley of Statesville; two daughters, Katigre Glaspy of Huntersville and Kiara Glaspy of Charlotte; six grandchildren, Ziryon Teasley, Makila Teasley, Oreyon Murdock, Kyle Geter, Nola Geter, and Mazyha Teasley; four brothers, Robert Geter Jr. and Reggie Geter, both of Statesville, and Timothy Geter and Corry Geter, both of Salisbury; one sister, Cynthia Santia Geter of Statesville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
