Susan Roseann Martin, 59, of Statesville, N.C., passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at her residence. Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on August 31, 1962, she was the daughter of the late William Charles Lidie and Lillian Norman Lidie.

Before becoming disabled, Susan worked for Iredell County Department of Social Services and also Iredell Memorial Hospital as an operating room technician.

She loved to cook, bake, work in her yard and most of all, she loved her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles David Martin; children, Kaleb Fulbright (Jill Swicegood) and Victoria Marin (Cody McPherson); two sisters, Karen Sampsell and Diane Harrington; and three grandchildren, Summer Fulbright, Leyton and Lyric McPherson.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. The family will speak to friends following the service.
