She was a graduate of Statesville High School.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Fred Daye; grandmother, Pauline Rogers; uncle, Mark Daye; and cousins, Shannon Lackey and Desmond Hayes.

She leaves to cherish the memory of her life her mother, Tina Marie Daye of the home; her father, Robert Earl Jackson (Barbara Walker); her special friend, Daren Glover; grandmother, Sarah Daye; her sisters, Nina (Danny) Icard of Winston-Salem, Tanisha Daye of Statesville and Tameka Walker of New York; her brother, Lameike Daye of Statesville; nieces and nephews, Tara Daye, Tiara Daye, Jamya Daye, Janya Daye, Tashya Daye, Shontrese Daye, Quaylec Icard, Shannon Icard, Juelz White, Talia Bostic and Tyquan Icard; great nieces and great nephews, “Lay”, Jalayla Lackey Carson, Paris Smith and Lundyn Smith; her aunts and uncles, Phyllis Daye, Deborah Daye, Wanda Daye, Chanelle Daye, Lolita Rogers, Annette Rogers, Gladys Jackson White, Katherine Alvarez, Kenneth (Renee) Daye, Jahmean Glover, Jameal Mapp, Freddie Daye and Kenya Jackson; cousins, other relatives, neighbors and dear friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary at 2 p.m. Members of the family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2 p.m., but will assemble at the residence at other times.
