William “Willy” E. Dilworth Jr., 67, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away Friday, October 15, 2021, at Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville, N.C.

Willy was a veteran of the United States Air Force. After his honorable discharge, he went on to work as a Prison Guard for the Massachusetts Department of Correction before retiring to Mooresville, N.C.

Willy is survived by loving friends and family.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte, N.C., on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 2 p.m. with the Pastor Chad Warner officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Terrell Baptist Church, 4146 Slanting Bridge Road, Sherrills Ford, NC 28673.
