Wilma M. Nash, 82, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Wilma was born January 8, 1939, to the late William and late Annie Dagenhart Moose.
Wilma was precededed in death by her husband, Bill Nash; one sister, Sylvia Brewer; and three brothers, David, Tom and Jim Moose.

Wilma loved her family, and she enjoyed cooking and gardening. Anyone who tasted her cooking loved it. Wilma will be greatly missed. She was a joy to spend time with, especially at her church, where she loved her Sunday school class, led by Sam, Gary, and June. She had a heart for missions, and would bake two pies for every church member’s funeral. She taught Sunday school at a previous church for over 30 years.
A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2021, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Church with a funeral service at 3 p.m. with Pastor Brian Burgess officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorials would be greatly appreciated to Beulah Baptist Church’s building fund or Gideons International.
