Woodrow Wilson Freeze Jr., 82, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was born on October 21, 1938, in Rowan County to the late Woodrow Wilson and Mary Davis Freeze.
He loved to farm and raise beef cattle; every Monday you could find him at the cattle sale. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys, baseball, and bull riding. He was an avid walker, walking at least three miles a day. He loved God and serving in the church, where he was a past elder at Prospect Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Brown, and brother, Mike Freeze.
He is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Morrow Freeze; children, Woodrow Wilson Freeze III (Elisa), Millette Mills (Craig), and Alex Freeze (April); brother, Lane Freeze (Liz); grandchildren, Logan Overcash (Shayna), Spencer Overcash, Will Freeze, Rebecca Freeze, Eli Freeze, Landry Freeze, Davis Freeze, Katelyn Mills, and Trey Mills; great grand, Memphis Overcash.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2021, at Prospect Presbyterian Church with Rev. Will Gipe and Rev. Woody Freeze officiating. Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery.
