Alice Marlene Rempe, 83, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on October 3, 2022. She was born on April 3, 1939, in Pella, Iowa, to Simon and Elizabeth Boot TerLouw.

Alice was a very accomplished singer and piano player who also loved to travel. Alice was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Carroll Rempe; children, Shelly Johnson (Ken) and Mike Rempe (Crystal); grandchildren, Daniel Johnson (Lauren), Eric Johnson (Angelique) Johnson, Austin Rhyne and William (Hayley) Rhyne; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Johnson and Hayes Johnson; and sister, Jody Risius (Dean).

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
