Our beloved wife and mom, Angelia “Angie” Marie Plyler Bryden, left our Earthly home for her Heavenly eternity on Monday, October 3, 2022. She was born in Mooresville, N.C., on September 9,1950, to Chester and Helen Plyler.
Angie lived a righteous life, dedicating herself to worshipping our wonderful and loving Lord. She retired from Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in 2015 and was then quick to volunteer to help anyone with anything. She often did craft projects to raffle off to donate to needy families around the area. She never met a stranger and everywhere we went, there was always someone she knew … even to a random overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway one time!
Angie is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Robert Lauren Bryden; her three sons, Robert James and wife Kathy, Joseph Michael, Stephen Mark and wife Jeannie; and a daughter, Julie Renea and husband Robbie. She was blessed enough to have 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren with another on the way. She is also leaving behind a hole in the lives of many friends and church family members.
The family will be receiving friends at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home in Mooresville from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 6. The funeral will be held at Williamson’s Chapel UMC in Mooresville on Friday, October 7, at 1 p.m. with a graveside service to follow.
Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory, Mooresville, is serving the Bryden family. Condolences may be made to the family at www.cavin-cook.com.
