Aubrey Lee Price Jr., 78, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville.

Aubrey was born June 8, 1944, in Minneapolis, Minn., to the late Margaret Wall and Aubrey Lee Price Sr. Born to a military family, he lived many places inside the United States as a kid, including Alaska.

He was a Greenville, S.C., High School graduate, Class of 1962, and attended college at the Citadel and Biscayne Southern Business School of Concord. Aubrey served in the U.S. Air Force from 1964 to 1968. He was an Eagle Scout, a charter member of the Mooresville Civitan Club, and a former active member of the Mooresville ARP Church for close to 50 years as a Youth Leader and the Cub Scout Master of Pack 164.

Aubrey retired from AT&T as a long line national service manager. He went on to do contract work for Lucent Technology. He had his private pilot’s license and worked at the Concord Airport and Lake Norman Airport.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Nancy Singleton Price; sons, Chris (Rose) and Stan (Jody); grandsons, Jackson and Connor; and his sister, Terry Moss (Joe) of Greenville, S.C.

A memorial service will be held at Prospect Presbyterian Church on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 6 p.m. The family will greet friends after the service.
