John Carl “Foot” Wiggins, 94, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on May 27, 2022. He was born on October 4, 1927, in Mooresville to the late Carl Bell and Corina Wilson Wiggins.

Foot was a hard worker and spent his career as a well driller and farmer. He was a member of Prospect Presbyterian Church, where he received an award for serving as head usher for 50 years. Foot was a regular at Corine’s Cafe for breakfast and at Bucko’s for lunch and dinner. He was also a regular at Bob’s Grill when it was in business in Mooresville. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He especially loved his great-grandson, Alexander. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Foot was preceded in death by siblings, Harrill, Leonard and Kenny Wiggins.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Agnes Wiggins; son, John Wiggins (Roxanne); grandchildren, Anthony and Michael Wiggins; great-grandchild, Alexander; sister, Patty Wiggins Belk; and closest friend, June Turner.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Prospect Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Mooresville, with the Rev. Will Gipe officiating.
