Carolyn Barbara Taylor Saine, 80, of Troutman, N.C., passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022. She was born on May 31, 1942, in Bristol, Tenn., to the late Herbert and Ethel Riordan Taylor.

Her family owned the Western Sizzlin Steak House in Kannapolis. She was a self-taught artist who loved giving art lessons. She had owned a frame gallery for 17 years. She loved her family and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Franklin Saine.

She is survived by her daughter, Cecily Ann Saine, and brother, Herbert Taylor.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022 at the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Rev. Don Mason officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Heritage House of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
