Casey Marie Hickey, 18, of Stony Point, N.C., departed this world unexpectedly on August 19, 2022.

Casey was born on December 25, 2003, in Gloucester County, N.J. She was the daughter of Stephen Solano Hickey and Jennifer Anne (Lemelledo) Hickey.

Casey graduated with high honors from West Iredell High School. She was a very talented artist and athlete. She was incredibly intelligent, kind, and had a witty sense of humor. Casey enriched the lives of all those she met.

Casey is survived by her parents, Stephen and Jennifer Hickey of Stony Point; her brother, Stephen Hickey of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

On Thursday, August 25, a visitation and service will be held at Reavis Funeral Home of Statesville and will begin at 9 a.m.
