The world lost a loving and dedicated mother, woman of God, teacher, friend, daughter, sister, aunt, mentor, and motivator.
Ms. Janice Myers, 58, was born in Wiesbaden, Germany, on January 31, 1964, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 15, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Myers, and her mother, Erna Kirstine Dagenhardt Myers, and by her maternal and paternal grandparents. She leaves to cherish the memory of her life four children, Nayeli Guadalupe Martinez Kristine Myers, Julio Joe Myers, John Poul Myers, and Raymond David Myers; a special niece, Mirante S. Myers; her beautiful twin, Janet (Edward) Myers Harvey; two brothers, Joe Myers and Poul Myers; and a host of nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews, and special friends.
Janice’s life didn’t end with her family. God blessed her with four amazing, smart, talented, and strong children, Nayeli Guadalupe Martinez Kristine Myers, Julio Joe Myers, John Poul Myers, and Raymond David Myers; a special niece, Mirante S. Myers. God chose these children to be Janice’s Forever Family. There were no rule books to follow but her unconditional love for her children was very evident.
She served the Lord at Christ Church. Her love for the Lord showed in her life. She walked in courage, faith, and joy in service to others. She loves her life group; they and the rest of her church are family to Janice. She educated many minds at Third Creek Middle School, and she is an inspiration to many. She was loved and respected by staff, students, and parents alike. Her creativity to motivate, care for, challenge, and touch the lives of her school community is unsurpassed.
She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. Spending time with her children, camping and fishing trips, nature walks, biking trails, and family vacations.
Janice was loved by so many. Today, she is resting in our Father’s loving arms. Remember her beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and joy in serving the Lord and her love for family. Until we see her again, my beautiful twin, Joe, Poul, and I love and miss you.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary from 5 until 7 p.m.
Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home is serving the family.
