JoAnna Jenkins Eades, 80, of Statesville, N.C., passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, May 27, 2022. JoAnna was born to Ephraim Lester and Hattie Augustus Jenkins on December 12, 1941.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers; Lester Jenkins Jr., Grady Jenkins, and Earl Jenkins; and sisters, Rachel Anderson and Mildred Clanton.

JoAnna leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Bobby Eades; sons, Roger Eades (Sherlie), Keith Eades, and Rick Eades; grandchildren, Jennifer Wingler (Tommy), Kyle Eades (Courtney), and Nicole Eades; great-grandchildren; Charley and Zeb Wingler, and Kasen Eades; and brother, James Clarence Jenkins (Carol).

JoAnna was a member of Yadkin Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and her grandchildren were her heart. She enjoyed the beach, traveling and cooking. She had a very big heart.

No services will be held at this time.
