Joyce Faye Osborne, 84, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on February 7, 2022. She was born on April 7, 1937, in Concord, N.C., to the late Lewis Linker and Margie Linker Foster.

Joyce loved to watch wrestling on TV, playing bingo and going dancing in her younger days. She also enjoyed fishing. She was loved by her family and will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her children, Jimmy Osborne, Iris Joann Osborne, and Charles David Osborne; and brother, Alvin Linker.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Osborne (fiancée Pam Wilcox), Jackie Osborne, Kenneth Tallent (Susan), Rick Tallent (fiancée, Sheri Phillips); seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; special nephew, Dillon Queen; siblings, Bobby Linker (Kaye), Libby Brown, Carol Shue (Richard), Sue Pless (Dale), Janice Evans, Cora Baker (David), and Doug Linker.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Landis, N.C., with Pastor Hazel Rawlings officiating.
