Louie “Marie” Hilton, 90, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the
S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House. She was born on November 22, 1931, in Catawba County, to the late Lewis Martin Hilton and Lillian Dameron Hilton Fleming.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by brothers, Jack Hilton and Robert Fleming.

She worked for Burlington Industries, formerly Mooresville Mills, before her retirement. Although Marie had no children of her own, she was like a grandmother to all of her nieces and nephews. She very much enjoyed being with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.

Marie is survived by brother, Marshall Fleming (Alice); sister, Olivia Vickers; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Hilton and Elizabeth Fleming; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Rev. Beau Mills officiating. Burial will follow the service in Glenwood Memorial Park.
