Michael Eugene Marley, 61, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. He was born on April 20, 1961, to the late Zona Jean Karriker.

Michael was a hard-working man who enjoyed mowing, landscaping, and working in the yard. He always liked to help others. He was known for his fabulous grilled steaks and burgers. He will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Miranda Dawn Marley; and brother, Danny Ralph Marley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Rita Stallings Marley; brother, Richard Marley; sister, Tamera Marley (Robert); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Gathering will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville.
