Polly Anne Hager Moore, 87, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. She was born on August 25, 1934, in Mooresville to the late Bona Edna Hager.
Ms. Moore worked in the medical field for over 40 years until her retirement. She was instrumental in opening the first out-patient surgery center in North Carolina. Ms. Moore was a member of First Baptist Church in Mooresville. She loved her church and was very active with her church from an early age. She also enjoyed music and dancing. Ms. Moore loved planning events and fundraisers in the community. She was known for her beautiful tablescapes. She had a great work ethic and was very generous. She was a giver and had strong faith. She was loved by and known as “Mother” to so many and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Harvey Rasar; and brother, Thomas Hager.
She is survived by her children, Page Rasar Cook and husband Michael, and Tod Rasar and wife Carol; grandchildren, Bevin Fink and husband Troy, Russell Cook and wife Amanda, Mary Cook, TJ Rasar Jr., and Savannah Rasar; and great grandchildren, Sarah, Noah, Seth, and Levi Fink, and Vada Cook.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 26, from 2 to 3 p.m. with a service following at 3 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hicks officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park.
