Samuel Richard Cummo passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at his home after a long illness.

He was born on April 9, 1962, in Camillus, N.Y., to Charles and Donna Cummo. He enjoyed being outdoors, cooking and watching football. Sam was a great Miami Dolphins fan. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles.

Sam is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tina Cummo, and his only daughter, Kayla; his two brothers, Douglas Cummo and Charles (Jill) Cummo Jr.; and one sister, Denise Cummo, as well as a niece and several nephews.

The family will have a Celebration of Sam’s Life at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory, Mooresville, N.C., on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at 4 p.m. If anyone would like to speak or share stories at the service, you are more than welcome to do so.
