Sandra Martin, 73, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C.

Born on June 11, 1948, in Brevard, N.C., she was the daughter of the late JC McLain and Dorothy Cook McLain. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Holly Lindsay, and a brother, Jimmy McLain.

Sandra graduated from Scotts High School and attended Mitchell Community College. She retired as a Quality Control Inspector at Bali. She enjoyed knitting, bird watching and nature.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Fred David Martin; son, David Martin and his wife Cynthia of Statesville; and a brother, Tony McLain and his wife Darlene of Statesville.

Per Sandra’s wishes, there are no formal services scheduled.
