Stuart Melcome Williams, 76, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, N.C. Mr. Williams was born on October 10, 1946, in Rochester, N.Y.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served from 1963 until 1967. He then enlisted in the United States Airforce and was stationed in Las Vegas, Nev.

During his career, Stuart worked as a salesman for Colonial Windows in New York until his retirement. He and his wife Lilian are members of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 12 years, Lilian Ainslie Williams; and his daughters, Katrina and Christine. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Josh.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 318 James Farm Road, Statesville.
