Susan Ann Kee Lambert, 75, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, June 11, 2022, at Novant Health Hospital in Huntersville, N.C. She was born on April 3, 1947, in Mecklenburg County to the late Fred Kee and Frances Goforth Kee Owens.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Creg Lambert; and stepfather, R. J. Owens.

Susan was a faithful member of Lake City Church. Her grandchildren were the love of her life. Susan was an avid fan of the Duke University Blue Devils. She was employed with Mooresville Graded Schools before her retirement.

Susan is survived by her children, Christine Griffin and Brian Lambert; grandchildren, Chase Morrison, Nicole and Jake Griffin, and Brian and Brianna Lambert.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, June 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Services will be on Tuesday, June 14, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Spradley officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in Mt. Zion Community Cemetery in Cornelius.
