Teena McClendon Duckworth, 66, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022, at The Citadel at Mooresville. She was born on August 29, 1956, in Atlanta, Ga., to the late Jessie and Nettie Owen McClendon.

Mrs. Duckworth was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Charlotte. She loved supporting her children and grandchildren, being a Team mom and Room mom and the best cheer Nana ever!

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny D. Duckworth.

She is survived by her children, Dawn Caldwell (Kenny), Stacy Barberio (Jimmie), and Ron Duckworth (Shawmarie); and her beloved grandchildren, Madison Mederios (Chandler), Blake Dockery, Dakota Duckworth, Mallory Caldwell, Mason Caldwell (Bri), Whitney Harper, Braden Barberio, Morgan Caldwell, Jalie Barberio, and Brock Barberio.

No services will be held at this time.
