Timothy Scott Nelson, 66, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C.. Born on April 23, 1956, in Berrien County, Mich., he was the son of the late George Olaf Nelson and Marlene Jeanette Gearhart Nelson.

Tim was an electrician, a block mason and worked in the wood carving industry. When he was living in the State of Washington, he enjoyed apple and cherry picking. He loved to golf, bowl and had a passion to read.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Marlene Nelson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Barbara Powers (David); brother, George Olaf Nelson Jr.; niece, Jessica; nephews, Ricky, Phill, Charles, and George; and nine great nieces and nephews.

At the request of Tim and his family, no services will be held.
