Alexander Craig Chambers passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023. He will forever be 28 years old.
Alex graduated from Lake Norman High School in 2012. Alex played soccer for the high school soccer team and participated in a traveling soccer league for many years. He was incredibly musically talented and loved playing the guitar. He truly enjoyed the fellowship he found attending his church, Lakeside Fellowship Church, and he was also active in the choir for a period of time.
Alex is loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His kind and gentle soul is now resting peacefully with God.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lois “Jo” McAlister, Ottis “Blue” Chambers, and Lula Bell Ball; his uncles, Levi Chambers, Allen Chambers, and Michael McAlister; and his cousin, Shane Chambers.
Alex is survived by his parents, Ottie and Tommie Chambers; his sister, Sarah Arey and her husband Brandon; his brother, Christopher Davidson and his wife April; his grandfather, Howard McAlister Sr.; his aunts, Donna Rudolph and Shelia Stephens; his uncle, Howard “Mac” McAlister Jr.; his four nieces, Emma, Madison, Harper, and Charlotte; and his cousins Tommy King, Andrew King, and Bridget Stephens.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a Celebration of Life following at 2 p.m. at Lakeside Fellowship Church in Mooresville.
