Andi Michele Henderson, 52, of Wilmington, N.C., died Sunday, December 17, 2023, at New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington.

She was born in Arlington Heights, Ill., on August 30, 1971, to Ron Henderson and Jamie Teasley Bailey.

Andi was a very unique person, and she never met a stranger. She was adventurous, funny, and kindhearted. She loved driving, music, snowboarding, art, animals, going to the beach and watching old horror movies. Andi was a breast cancer survivor.

Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Eris Swager (Patrick Butler); a son, Connor Beeley; father, Ron Henderson; mother and stepfather, Jamie and Terry Bailey; sister, Leslie Henderson-Martin (Honda); boyfriend, Bryan Wendzel; niece, Ashton Martin; nephew, Isaiah Martin; her fur babies, Kylo, Wicket and Red Dog; and a close community of friends in Colorado.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 22, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Tevepaugh officiating. The family will visit with friends from 12 noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
