Angela Isabell Ortiz Gonzalez, 78, of Olin, N.C., departed this world on April 30, 2023, from Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C.

Angela was born on March 22, 1945, in Puerto Rico. She was the daughter of the late Bernardo Ortiz and Francisca Green Ortiz.

Angela was a loving mother and wife. She married her husband Pedro Gonzalez in September of 1982. Together they had four beautiful children.

Angela is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Pedro Gonzalez of Olin; two sons, Martin Eric Micheo of Olin and Peter Gonzalez of Nevada; two daughters, Rosana Nelson of Olin and Leilana Victoria Marrero of Connecticut; two brothers, George and Bernardo Ortiz, both of Connecticut; and two sisters, Rosa Marie Procopio of Connecticut and Tina Rivera of Florida.

On Saturday, May 6, a visitation for Angela will be held at Reavis Funeral Home of Statesville from 6 to 7 p.m. 7 p.m. Following visitation at 7 p.m. Pastor Mario Diaz will officiate the memorial service.
