Mr. Arnold Joe Everhart, 58, was born in Cleveland, N.C., on November 20, 1964, to the late Joseph Everhart and Linnie Rankin Everhart. He departed this life on Friday, September 22, 2023, at his residence.

Arnold was affectionately known as “Tagg” by his family and friends. He attended West Rowan High School and was self-employed as a handyman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lovely Ramseur; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Everhart.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life two daughters, Talisa Lynette Ramseur Imes (Keshawn) and Shakila Ramsseur; siblings, Donnie Everhart, Stanley Everhart, Linda Everhart, Stacey Everhart, Mark Everhart, Timothy Everhart, and Tiffany Everhart, all of Cleveland, N.C., Frankie Everhart (Sonya) of Statesville, Wanda Johnson of Charlotte, N.C., Freddrena Johnson, and Charlecka Johnson, both of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Destiny Ramseur, Dinaty Ramseur, and Keshana Imes; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary, Statesville. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Reverend Willie Everhart and Evangelist Miller.
