Arthur Wesley Robbins, a great father, grandfather, and hard worker, passed away on February 27, 2023, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C.
Art, as he was so lovingly known as, was born on May 12, 1961, in Warren, N.J. He was the son of the late Arthur Wesley Bruce Robbins and Jean Louise (Quick) Robbins.
Art graduated from college and earned an associate degree. He married the love of his life, Angelina (Bianchino) Robbins, and together they had an extended family of eight children. Art was a handyman and was self-employed. He was an extremely hard worker and was very proud of that. Art enjoyed helping people and tried to do so whenever he could.
Art leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Angelina Robbins of Statesville; a son, Christopher Robbins of Statesville; seven daughters, April Reicherter (John) of Pennsylvania, Victoria Lynn Robbins of Statesville, Amanda Jean Robbins of Pennsylvania, Sarah Jean Robbins of Pennsylvania, Hannah Ruth Levy (Jack) of Statesville, Patricia Ann Umberger (Nick) of Tennessee, and Holly Marie Bianchino of Tennessee. Art is also survived by his two brothers, Timothy Allen Robbins of Pennsylvania and Mark David Robbins (Martha) of Pennsylvania; and eight grandchildren, Taliah, Kendrah, Orion, Robert, Andrew, Joseph, Aiden, and Emmitt.
On March 4, a visitation for Art will be held at Reavis Funeral Home of Statesville from 1 to 3 p.m. Following visitation at 3 p.m. John Powell will officiate the memorial service, also held at Reavis Funeral Home.
