Betty Jean Morris Cannon, 89, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the S, Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville. Born April 19, 1933, in Mooresville, she was the daughter of the late William B. Morris Sr. and Lillian Pope Morris.

Mrs. Cannon was a retired supervisor in the textile industry.

She was preceded in death by a brother, William “Bill” B. Morris Jr.

Mrs. Cannon is survived by her grandchildren, Sharon Sloan, Joshua Hall, Blythe Henderson, Ryan Hall and Jared Hall; nephews, William “Bill” Morris and John Morris; and niece, Lori Morris.

There will be no services held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House, 1325 Mecklenburg Hwy, Mooresville, NC 28117.
