Betty Shoemaker Wilson, 80, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Accordius Healthcare-Mooresville.

She was born on August 4, 1943, in Rowan County, N.C., to the late Lester and Edna Livengood Shoemaker. Mrs. Wilson was retired from the Security Forces. She enjoyed animals, working in flowers, and watching tv especially crime shows and Westerns.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wilson; sisters, Mary Christenbury, Elsie Benfield; and brother, Sonny Shoemaker.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
