Bobby Joe Bingman, 72, of Statesville, N.C., passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2023, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was born June 8, 1950, in Surry County, N.C., to the late Sherman Bundy Bingman and Annie Margaret “Myrtle” Bowles Bingman.

Bobby was a farmer and a member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by one brother, J.B. Bingman, and one sister, Patricia Sharpe, and a special friend, Jim Church.

Those left to cherish his memory include Bobby’s wife, Betty Jean Wilcox Bingman of the home; one son, Johnny Ray Bingman of the home; three daughters, Bunny Cadigan and husband Randy of Statesville, and Penny Bingman and Wendy Bingman, both of the home; one brother, Bruce Odell Bingman and wife Carol of Union Grove; one sister, Opal Mae Sneed of Union Grove; four grandchildren, Tabatha Loyd and husband Bryan, Nichole Robertson and husband Kevin, Danielle Dalton and husband Evan, and Molly Estes and husband Tommy; nine great-grandchildren, Colby, Kaylie, Lucian, Anna, Abbie, Winter, Jayson, Dallas, and John-Ryker; and special friends Greg Caldwell and Dorman Loyd.
