Brian Wilson Dahl, 64, of Troutman, N.C., left his earthly home and entered his eternal home on Monday, July 31, 2023, and is now celebrating with his Heavenly Father.
Brian was born June 21, 1959, in Champaign, Ill. He was the son of Susan Schweiker Dahl and the late David Terrence “Terry” Dahl. He attended The Peddie School in Heightstown, N.J., where he found his lifelong love of hockey. He attended Deerfield High School in Deerfield, Ill., and continued his education at the Stowe School in Stowe, Vt. Brian was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, fulfilled basic training at Lackland Air Force Base and served at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. Along with his love of ice hockey, he enjoyed fishing, reading his Bible, and was a huge fan of the St. Louis Blues. He was a member of Sandersville Community Church in Tennille, Ga., and many Christian/Conservative groups that aligned with his Christian beliefs.
Along with his father, Brian was preceded in death by his son, Lance C. Dahl.
Those left to cherish Brian’s life and memory include his mother, Susan; his son, Kyle Dahl of Denver, Colo.; and his brother, Jeffrey R. Dahl (fiancé Kathy Hodges and her son, C.W. Hodges). He also had many aunts, uncles, and cousins (living and past) whom he loved dearly. Also surviving is his sweet fur baby, Max the dog. Brian was the esteemed ninth great grandson of Pocahontas.
