Carla Blades Beaver, 71, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at her residence. She was born on June 11, 1952, in Charlotte to the late Carlton and Helen Phifer Blades.

Mrs. Beaver was a member of Fieldstone Presbyterian Church in Mooresville. She was an avid reader with Robert Heinlein being her favorite author. She loved sci-fi and was a huge Star Trek fan, as well as a fan of The Tick.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an aunt, Jean L. Phifer.

She is survived by her sons, Jonathan Beaver and Christopher Beaver (Am-ra); brother, John Blades (Tammie); and sister, Mary Helen Streiffert (Steve).

A Memorial service will be held in January 2024 at Fieldstone Presbyterian Church.
