Cuitlahuac “Cuiti” Mark Weber, 61, of Mooresville, N.C., and formerly of Montebello, Calif., went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 5, 2023, after a short illness. He was born to the late Luis and Maria Del Puy Weber on May 16, 1962, in Montebello, Calif.
After serving his Country for 20 years in Special Forces, the events of September 11, 2001 (9-11), prompted his decision to continue service by joining the Department of Homeland Security in the Air Marshal Division. He served his country for another 20 years in the Federal Service.
He was a member of the Special Forces Association, Fraternal Order of Police and North Carolina Sheriff’s Association. He was a devoted husband and father; his family was his focus after his second retirement from Federal Service. That was closely followed by his brotherhood to the Special Forces Community and his many brothers in the Air Marshal Division.
Cuiti will always be remembered as a quiet professional with a true Warrior spirit. He will be greatly missed by all.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Jacquelyn Day Weber of Mooresville; son, Gabriel Tate Weber of Mooresville; daughter, Sophia Weber of New Hampshire; brother, Cuautemoc “Temoc” Weber of Loddekoponge, Sweden, and his wife Sussie Weber; and nieces, Maya, Emmy, and Isabelle.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests to send donations to the Green Beret Foundation in honor of Cuitlahuac M. Weber at GreenBeretFoundation.org.
Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory, Mooresville, is serving the family.
